A Riddle from Psalm 78

Berashith is called to prepare, to awaken and to heal the broken hearted (wounded souls) and also to set the Bride of Christ (the captives) free.

"Blow the Trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: Gather the people, sanctify the congregation: Let the Bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the Bride out of her closet" - Joel 2:15, 16

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me because the LORD has anointed me; He has sent me to preach good tidings unto those who are cast down; to bind up the wounds of the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those that are bound; to proclaim the year of the LORD's favour, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;” – Isaiah 61:1-2

This is precisely what the Son of man came to do. When Yahshua came out of the wilderness, He entered the synagogue at his home town, Nazareth, (Luke 4:17-19) and quoted this verse, with one exception. He did not quote the last part of Isaiah 61, namely “the day of vengeance of our God”, because He did not yet come for vengeance. He came to:

Preach the Gospel – your Salvation

Outpour the Spirit of the Lord upon you– your Spirit Baptism

Recover your sight to the blind – your Healing

Proclaim liberty to the captives – your Deliverance

Heal the broken hearted – your Emotional Healing

The day of vengeance of our God is a future event – and it is very near! The time is short, and it is Yahshua’s desire for you to hear the good news and to come unto salvation. His desire is for you to receive the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), to receive your physical healing (walk out in divine health), to be delivered from any addiction and to receive even your emotional healing (from any trauma out of your life).

Believers are running a race towards the victor’s crown (1 Corinthians 9:25). The Apostle Paul said we will not be able to run this marathon race unless we let go of the wounds in our souls.

As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us. Hebrews 12:1 TPT

Paul continued by saying, “We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection” (Hebrews 12:2 TPT).  Peter gave the answer to the perfection of faith when he wrote, “For you are reaping the harvest of your faith—the full salvation promised you—your soul's victory!” (1 Peter 1:9 TPT).

Saints, there is a full salvation awaiting us!  The salvation of our souls and bodies follows our born-again experience.  Yashuah has already paid in full for our souls and bodies and, therefore, after he had read Isaiah 61 in the synagogue, He announced, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your ears” (Luke 4:21 MKJV).

The content of this book is not so much about occultism itself as it is about exposing the evil works of the darkness.  This book aims to share the truth about the darkness and bring hope to those who are captive because of occultic practices performed on them.  These are more common than we realise.  It is also an invitation to accept the Lord’s call to help set the captive free.  All deliverance and healing are periodically bringing down the kingdom of darkness and destroying its power.  We need to deliver the TRUTH to the captives because the truth will set them free.

For a true servant of our Lord Jesus will not be argumentative  but gentle toward all and skilled in helping others see the truth, having great patience toward the immature. 25 Then with meekness you’ll be able to carefully enlighten those who argue with you so they can see God’s gracious gift of repentance and be brought to the truth. 26 This will cause them to rediscover themselves  and escape from the snare of Satan who caught them in his trap so that they would carry out his purposes. 2 Timothy 2:24-26 TPT
